As the sun rose over Ascot Bin Hire’s Sunshine facility, the smell of bacon on the BBQ and the buzz of friendly chatter set the tone for a special morning — a celebration of what’s already shaping up to be a powerful partnership.
The early morning BBQ wasn’t just about fuelling the team with coffee and a good feed before a busy day on the road, it was about connection. Held on the first RDO after the Easter and Anzac Day holidays, the breakfast marked just over a month since the Ascot Bin Hire team officially joined the Sycle journey — and things are already off to a flying start.
From the beginning, this partnership has felt like a natural fit. Ascot and Sycle are both family-grown businesses, built on trust, service and community. That shared foundation was front and centre as Murray James, Ascot Bin Hire Operations Manager, opened the morning by speaking to what makes this partnership work. He highlighted the alignment in values, the focus on people — and acknowledged the strong leadership support from Symal and Sycle, with Joe Bartolo, Olivia Bartolo, Nabeel Sadaka and Aristos Karavias all in attendance.
From Ozzie — Ascot’s customer service legend and driver who clients know by name — to the family ties between Logistics Manager, Jess Traynor and her truck driver dad Tommy, this partnership is powered by genuine people. It’s what makes Ascot more than a bin service — and it’s why Sycle is proud to be working alongside them.
